NazFX - Commissions Terms & Conditions
By commissioning me you are agreeing to the terms and conditions presented below.
Commissioners must be over 18.
Payment, unless agreed otherwise, must be made in full via paypal. Australian buyers can pay through bank transfer. Payment must be made within 1 week of committing to the purchase.
30% of your payment is considered a non refundable deposit. Should you choose to cancel the commission before I have started work you will be refunded MINUS this 30%. Once work is started no refund may be issued. If for any reason I need to cancel your commission a full refund will be given.
Changes to commissions may only be made if I agree upon them. Once a commission is started it is less likely that I will accept changes to the piece. Any changes agreed to must be paid for at an additional cost specified by me.
All items will be declared and insured at their full value and marked as a purchased item. I will not mark it as a gift or lower the value of the item to avoid import fees etc.
Any import charges, taxes etc are the responsibility of the purchaser and not my own. Please research the import fees, regulations, taxes etc of your own country before committing to purchase. I will list the items FULL value on its export documentation.
My plush are made primarily as display pieces. Gentle cuddling is fine on some plush, while others will not suit regular cuddling due to armature and other features.
Due to their handmade nature and the incorporation of hand stitching, they are not suitable for children or animals, frequent or rough handling. Plush should be kept out of the reach of children and pets and should never be machine washed. Please contact me for information on how to hand wash your plush.
As an artist I will do my best to match your reference images and chosen character as closely as I can. Please be aware that my own style and the limitations of the medium will dictate how I will make a project and some stylisation will occur due to my methods and materials.
A clear reference image of your character must be provided. It must be unshaded and digitally colored. If I cannot see an element of your character’s design it is up to my interpretation. You may not request the addition of elements that are not visible on your provided reference image.
If multiple reference images are provided it will be assumed that the details shown in each reference are acceptable. You may not pick elements from different reference images (e.g. ears from one image, eyes from one image, markings from another etc).
A single, clear reference (preferably 2-3 angles) is preferred.
If the project is based on a real life animal, I can source reference images for you or you can provide them yourself.
I reserve the right to use photographs and video of the finished project for promotional purposes.
Repairs (on fursuits and fursuit parts only) required due to construction issues will be made for free during the first 3 months of ownership. This does not cover repairs required due to mishandling or improper care. The buyer will be required to pay postage to and from myself. Please keep this in mind when commissioning as posting internationally can be expensive.
If this occurs the costume must be sent back to me in a clean condition.
Repairs needed after 3 months are up to my discretion and may require a fee. I cannot guarantee that I will take on all repairs after the initial 3 months.
Once the commission has begun, no changes to the design may be made unless approved by me. I reserve the right to decline changes. Please make sure your provided reference is correct before we begin. Agreed upon changes may incur an additional fee.
I do not work to deadlines at this time.
My queue is kept very short however, so turnaround is ideally as fast as I can manage it, but will vary from project to project. I will update my Trello frequently with where I am up to on each project I take on.
Due to buying almost all fur and materials internationally, waiting for furs typically takes 2-6 weeks.
I will be required to work on my monthly patreon pattern while commissions are active. Do not commission me if you are not ok with this.
Clients must be contactable during the creation process. Please be prepared to check emails at least once per day (under normal conditions) while the commission is underway. This ensures that I can resume work quickly if I have a question I need you to respond to.
Progress will be updated via Trello. Updates will be given as necessary.
Daily updates are not available.
If the client is unable to be contacted within 30 days their commission will be cancelled. If work has not begun a refund minus the 30% non refundable deposit will be sent. If work has already begun no refund will be sent.
If the item is sent back to me due to postal issues outside of my control it is the buyers responsibility to cover the cost of the return as well as sending the item again.
Postage is expected to take longer than usual due to Covid-19 and Christmas. Packages can be expected to take 4-12 weeks to arrive but are not guaranteed due to global delays.
